Hello! My name is Kellen Fitzgerald and I’m a Fordham University senior majoring in communications and minoring in visual arts. Along with various fashion-focused activities on my daily agenda, I also serve as captain of Fordham’s track and field team. Aside from writing as a CF Style Guru since my freshman year, I’ve also spent the last few years as CollegeFashionista’s marketing intern, an opportunity that has provided a glimpse into the hard work and inspiration behind CF. As I continue to work with CF and witness its remarkable progress, I not only have the privilege of being a part of an extremely passionate and creative team, but I also have the opportunity to be constantly inspired by the students featured on the site.
I would describe my wardrobe as youthful, clean and classic. I’m a firm believer that comfort and elegance should not be mutually exclusive, and as a college student in New York City, I’m constantly learning how to personalize contemporary designs in a way that not only looks good, but more importantly, feels good. Personal style is certainly an evolutionary process that has taught me, above all else, to wear what feels right. Expressing one’s personality by way of fashion can only resonate when it’s genuine. Simply put, dress for yourself.
